300 g carrots

pepper (or according to personal taste hot pepper or paprika)

50 g wholemeal breadcrumbs

Recommended equipment: a blender or a food processor

Instructions

How can we replace the meat in vegan cooking?
There are many variants
, from veggie burgers to seitan.
In this recipe, though, we will focus on the preparation of a special type of vegetable burgers: burgers with carrots and almonds.
This dish is extremely healthy, thanks to the use of almonds which, as is well known, are a great time to our body, and at the same time have a very delicate and refined.
Let us see what we gotta get to prepare them. The amounts are calculated for four people, but of course you can resize them to fit your needs to avoid waste. The ingredients that we need are, except for the almonds, all very cheap and easy to find.

Thoroughly clean the carrots, onion and tomatoes.
Cut into small pieces and place them in a blender or food processor.
Chop everything thoroughly, until you get a homogeneous mixture.
Be careful to blend at a low speed in order to prevent the foam.
Pour the mixture into a bowl and add the almonds, adding salt, pepper or paprika and chili.
Mix thoroughly until dough is thick, but soft at the same time.
Start now to knead the burgers by hand or with the stencil for burgers (this second alternative is obviously easier and makes the final result more accurate).
Once the burgers, bread the bread crumbs.
Take a baking dish of adequate size and wad it with greaseproof paper, then place on top of it the vegan burger.
Preheat the oven to a temperature of 180 degrees and place the pan in the bottom of the oven.
Bake for 15 minutes, then move the baking pan in the upper part of the oven and bake for another 15 minutes.
This process allows cooking both sides without having to turn the burgers while cooking.
Do, in fact, a lot of attention in the first phase of cooking them because the consistency is unlikely to be very solid.

At this point you'll be ready to churn out your vegan burgers and serve, accompanied by bread, salad and sauces to your liking.
We are confident that the end result will leave you speechless!
