Creole style rice with peppers and mango
For 4 people:
200 grams of rice Thai aromatic
80 g chopped onion
120 grams of diced red pepper
120 grams of diced ripe mango
1 teaspoon turmeric
sesame seed oil
salt and pepper
Soak the rice for an hour covered with cold water.
In a baking heat 2 tablespoons olive oil and sauté the peppers lightly with onion.
Then pour into the pan the rice, drained the water, turmeric, salt and pepper.
Mix the ingredients well, pour in cold water to cover the Pan in the oven at 180° C for familial hospitality and twenty minutes adding eventalmente hot water if it is too dry.
Remove the lid 5 minutes before the rice is cooked, add the diced mango.
Before serving slowly pour in a little oil and stir thoroughly with a fork.
