Ingredients

For 4 people: 250 g of shelled mixed nuts (walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, etc.)-130 g of wholemeal bread-1 bunch of parsley-thyme-20 g chives-some basil leaves-1 tbsp oil-1 cube of yeast-1 medium onion-salt (or miso)
To serve: tomato sauce and rice

Instructions

Collect in the mixer the dried fruit, herbs, breadcrumbs and a pinch of salt or, if you prefer, half a teaspoon of miso. Mix until the mixture is mealy.
Finely chop the onion and Brown in oil.
Dissolve yeast in 130 ml of warm water.
Preheat the oven to 190° c.
Pour water with baking powder into the mixture, add the fried onions and mix well together.
Form into balls the size of a walnut and arrange them on a baking sheet lightly greased or lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until the meatballs are well browned.
Served with a tomato sauce and brown rice.
Very suitable as dressings also the hummus and baba ghannouj/or.
