For 4 persons: 30 ml olive oil-3 crushed garlic cloves-sliced white onion 160 g-1 chilli pepper-15 ml chili powder-5 ml cumin powder-250 g rice 650 ml-water-salt-3 ripe tomatoes-200 g dried beans-peas-200 g of freshly ground black pepper-1 red onion sliced 15 ml lemon juice


In a saucepan heat 1 tablespoon olive oil on low heat. Add the garlic and the onions into slices. Saute for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Unite the chili, chili and cumin. Saute for 2 minutes. Pour in the rice and cook until brown. Add the water and 1 teaspoon salt. Bring to a boil on high flame. At this point, lower the heat and put the lid on. Bake for about 25 minutes. When the rice is cooked, add the chopped tomatoes, boiled beans and peas. Season with salt and pepper and lemon juice. Mix well, on low heat, and pour by spoonfuls on plates. Decorate with slices of onion.
