Basmati and wild rice with vegetables

For 4 people:
400 g Basmati and wild rice mixture (the mixture is ready even at the supermarket)
1 medium-size red onion
1 carrot
2 stalks of celery
2 cloves garlic
Basil and parsley to taste.
salt and pepper
extra virgin olive oil


Boil rice according to the cooking time required in salted water.
Meanwhile coarsely chop all the vegetables and saute them rather in the oil in a wide pan, gradually adding a little hot water for cooking portal, seasoning with salt and pepper.
At the end of cooking the rice, pour well drained into the pan with the vegetables and sauté a few minutes over high heat.
